WHAT WE'RE GOING TO DO
The objective route will be to circumnavigate Salt Spring Island. The circumnavigation is approximately 75 km in total. Participants must be prepared to paddle on average 3-4 hours per day. Your Guide will determine the best route based on their assessment of the weather forecast and everyone’s experience level and goals. There are many amazing campsites along the shores of Salt Spring Island. Typically we will stay at each site for only one night - possible site options include: Wallace Isl. Marine Prov. Park, James Bay Campground, and Beaver Point Campground.
The sea kayaking skills that we focus on during this trip are dependent on the previous experience that participants possess while clarifying and delivering a program to help paddlers realize their aspirations.
